Nursing Care

When ordered by a physician and directed by the representative of the Purchaser of Service, such as the case manager for Fraser Health, our Registered Nurses can supervise and train our Community Health Workers to provide certain nursing tasks to our clients. These tasks include:

Assisting with oral medications
Applying medicated creams or lotions
Instilling eye drops
Applying and removing non-narcotic medicated transdermal skin patches
Assisting with nebulized and inhaled medications
Applying and removing support stockings
Assisting with Range of Motion Exercises as prescribed by a physiotherapist
Catheter care
Bowel care
Ostomy Care
Urostomy Care
Tube feedings
Oxygen Administration
