Delta Home Support has access to several portable ceiling track lifts to assist clients in safely getting in and out of bed or the shower through the Lift Access Program, operated through the Aids to Independent Living (AIL) Program of the Canadian Red Cross.

The portable ceiling track lifts are used in situations where it has become too difficult to manually assist a client in and out of bed or their wheelchair.

Lift devices have been very helpful in allowing clients greater independence and the ability to remain safely in their own home. The lifts are also a big help to the Home Support Workers caring for clients, greatly decreasing the risk of injuries both to their clients and to themselves.
